Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Confluensa Pro ("we", "us", "our") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Confluensa Pro you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your name and email address, and a securely hashed (never plain-text) password.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We retain a Stripe customer/subscription reference and your plan status.
• Waitlist information — if you join the waitlist, your name and email.
• Usage & technical data — session cookies to keep you signed in, and basic server logs (e.g. IP address, request paths, timestamps) used for security and reliability.
• Product analytics — we record which pages are viewed and which links and buttons are clicked inside the app, so we can see which features are actually used and improve them. Where you are signed in, these records are linked to your account. Visitors are otherwise identified only by a one-way daily hash; we do not store raw IP addresses against analytics records, and this data is never sold or shared for advertising.

2. How we use your information

• To create and operate your account and deliver the Service.
• To process subscriptions and send billing and account emails.
• To keep the Service secure, diagnose faults, and prevent abuse.
• To understand which features are used, so we can prioritise what to build and fix.
• To respond when you contact us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your signed-in session. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our product analytics run on our own servers and set no additional cookies.

4. Service providers we share data with

We share limited data with trusted providers only as needed to run the Service:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Supabase — database and account storage.
• Render — application hosting.
• Email delivery — to send account, billing and notification emails.

5. Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your account exists, and for a reasonable period afterwards where we are required to for legal, tax or accounting purposes. Waitlist entries are kept until you ask us to remove them or the waitlist closes. Analytics records are kept for up to 90 days.

6. Security

Passwords are stored using a one-way hash and are never recoverable in plain text. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and held with the providers listed above. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and you can object to or restrict certain processing. Email desk@confluensa.net and we will action it. Deleting your account removes your personal information; anonymous, aggregated usage counts that cannot identify you may remain.

8. Children

Confluensa Pro is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. International users

Confluensa Pro is operated from the United States and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. If you access the Service from elsewhere, you consent to that transfer. Users in the UK and EEA retain the rights described in section 7.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy as the Service evolves. The "last updated" date above will change, and material changes will be notified by email or in the app.
